The new Symantec Showcase

We just launched the new Symantec Showcase on the BNMC web site. This integrated web page reviews the Symantec Endpoint Protection and BackupExec solutions. Most of BNMC's customers run Endpoint Protection to protect their servers and workstations against viruses, spyware, malicious code and allow for network access control. BackupExec and System Recovery are BNMC's file and O/S backup solution of choice for our customers.

Introducing the new VMware solutions page on BNMC's web site.  This page will assist you with quickly finding the most up to date VMware solutions right on the BNMC web site.  BNMC has actively been working with VMware to get information out to our customers and partners about their virtualization strategies with vSphere (ESX server), View (Virtual Desktop) and their vCloud offering.

As our customers know, BNMC has worked with VMware for over 10 years and we help our customers consolidate physical servers, increase their business resiliency and performance and move to private cloud computing through VMware.

Cracks In The Dell-EMC Storage Strategic Partnership Widening

There seems to be a recent strain in the storage relationship between EMC and Dell due to sales of Dell branded EMC storage array network (SAN) products vs Dell's EqualLogic line.   As a Dell Enterprise Architect partner, BNMC tends to recommend the EqualLogic product line over the EMC product and we have been very happy with the new and improved PowerVault MD3200i SAN.  We also see the Dell account managers and sales rep pushing the EqualLogic and MD3200i lines as well.
